IT’S OFFICIAL!
Lisa and I are onto our next great adventure together. On April 6th we will be boarding a plane to New Zealand to begin a multi-year travel abroad experience. We are leaving our jobs, selling our house, and condensing our lives into a suitcase and a carry on. This is something we both have talked and dreamed about since we got married and we figure that the time will never be better than now.
As we crisscross continents and hemispheres we will use it as a time to grow individually and together. While we are saddened to leave so many people we love and cherish, we are excited about the opportunity to meet people from so many different walks of life. We fully expect the people we meet to challenge us, teach us, make us laugh, make us cry, but most of all, force us to grow.
Together, we have worked hard and planned as best we could, but at some point you must take a leap of faith. God has blessed us in so many ways, and with so many opportunities, all of which, have brought us to this point. While we still can’t believe this is happening, our one way ticket to the other side of the world is waiting to be punched. We have decided to exchange a comfortable yet unfulfilling life for the opportunity to live life on our terms. We do not exactly know what will happen, but we are confident that when we come back to the place of our birth, that we will no longer be the same people, and that is all we could hope or ask for!
Please keep us in your prayers!
